Welcome to the

Ku-ring-gai Horticultural Society Inc. website

We hope you find it attractive and informative.  We are keen to encourage you to extend your gardening activities, perhaps from a small beginning, because gardening can be a source of much pleasure as well as providing healthy exercise. This is your invitation to enjoy learning about gardening with friends.

Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month except January, at St Ives Community Hall, Memorial Avenue, St Ives (opp. Woolworths). Come at 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday,3 October 2023.  The main speaker will be Prof. Michelle Leishman, School of Natural Sciences, Macquarie University.  Michelle Leishman is an internationally renowned ecologist who works in the fields of plant invasion biology, climate change impacts and adaptation, plant conservation and urban greening.  The topic of her talk will be ‘Towards nature-smart liveable cities for the future’, a topic relevant to us all. 

The member speaker this month will be Bob Ballinger who will take us on a pictorial visit to Daffodils at Rydal which the Society visited recently.

The Ku-ring-gai Horticultural Society covers the suburbs of Roseville, Lindfield, Killara, Gordon, Pymble, Turramurra, Warrawee, Wahroonga and St Ives, but we welcome members from any surrounding suburbs.
